About time we wrote on this blog.
So we had a rad time driving the Great White Whale up the washington coast. It was super stormy and "moody". I got off on the millions of logs on the wild beaches, Sarah got to visit where Twilight was filmed.
Seattle was a lot of fun. The Emerald city is beautiful and relaxed. We were shown around by expert tour guides Lars and Kinsey. Cycled around Ballard and saw boats navigating the locks, got a little drunk on the many varieties of free beer at Lars' brewery followed by a baseball game, and went skiing at Summit Pass. Summit Pass had not only fresh pow, but pond skimming/slush cup on!
Leaving Seattle, we drove east to Vantage which was STUNNING. Then again to Polson and along the southern border of Glacier National Park (MT) to the bleak plains of the blackfoot reservation around Browning.
Now we just arrived in.....Calgary!
